What Was An Interesting Point from Yesterday's Show

That we shouldn't classify a grape varietal as something we do or do not like. If you try a Merlot you may not like it but Merlot is grown in various wine growing regions around the world so just because you may not like a particular Merlot it does not mean you may not like another one from elsewhere.

So don't because you do not like a wine from a certain grape think they taste all the same. In fact it is a good thing to not like a wine but still we must be open minded to try the varietal from another region because we may like that one.

If you want to hear the show in it's entirety click here. A great show to learn how you can move up the ladder in the sommelier world.
