Isn't funny Steve? Our grandma lived to be 101, almost 102 - and yet 55 isn't considered middle age. Heck, my other grandparents lived into their 80s and my beloved in laws are well there too.

Oh well take the bennies that come with the Senior discount [my Steven is 57 and I still get a giggle when he can use one] and enjoy.

Happy Birthday my friend and congratulations on the book. I will be checking for details to purchase. CAN NOT WAIT. I am so happy and proud of you.

Hugs and love to you all. Janine

SkippyMom...Great to hear from you! I am happy that I am healthy. My brother has colon cancer and he just retired at 66 and my Mother who is 85 could not remember my birthday yesterday if her life depended on it. Didn't even register when the waitress brought the cake with candle out. So for me right now I would rather live healthy to 75 rather than live longer and be bed ridden or something. You know what i mean. Hopefully I can maintain a good quality of life. I hope you are well and this book should be a good one. Having it self published but going through editing process, content edited, so should be better than those snippets of emails I was sending out. It is quite a process doing a book but it should be worth the effort. You will like it I believe. Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Put me at the top of the list for purchase, make sure, okay?

I am sorry to hear about your brother and your Mom. I mean that. It saddens me, I lost my Dad at 63 and my Mom at 70, and both were in poor health near the end - but Steven's Grandma [ours!] who lived to be 101, was able to enjoy every minute, until the end. She was healthy enough until she was 99, but had to enter a home, only because her children were in their late 70s and couldn't care for her. And she certainly didn't want to live with us "young 'uns" giggle She did mention to me and the kids [Wallene especially] that she was ready, she felt as tho' she had a beautiful life, but it was time.

I want so much to live to 75, but? I don't know anymore. They have been trying to kill me off for two years. Somehow I keep defying them, I think. The best you can do is consider yourself blessed for everyday that you have and remember, no matter what, the sun will always come up tomorrow. Whether we are here or not, the sun will shine on those we love.

I do agree tho' - I would rather pass having walked to my bed than be a burden on my family.

I so hope you had the most awesome birthday, as one of my favorite people, I know you it should be yours, deservedly so.

I have missed the heck out of you, my friend. I better get details about your book. ::wink::
