Watch Carefully At What Point He Changes His Shirt



If we could misdirect people's focus on what they didn't like about the meal to what they enjoyed about it would we become more effective servers? Would the complaints be less hostile?

What about if you complimented someone right off the bat when greeting them? Would they dare to complain afterwards?

We as waiters should be building that wall against criticism right away so it makes the guests less likely to complain afterwards unless of course the whole dining experience went so far South there was no way we could save it.

Basically getting them to like you is key.
