Not Everyone Can Wait on Tables
Then much to their surprise they find out it is not something anyone can do. If people would go through a waiter school beforehand like any other trade or profession then maybe they would have some idea of what they were getting involved in. Also employers would have some criteria upon which they can do their hiring.
It is amazing how many people who are new who cannot carry more than two plates and who look like they are going to spill the entree on the guest's lap when placing it in front of them. Also not having any idea that they should place the protein in front facing the person.
