How Cold Is It?
The coldest place yesterday in Canada was Armstrong Ontario at -45C and that was just the temperature. That is -49 Fahrenheit on the old scale. There was only this place in Siberia which was -54C yesterday that was colder.
I remember growing up in Montreal and it was two months before the temperature hit the freezing mark. There use to be cold days all the time.
Due to global warming there are not many days left when the temperature will go as low as today.
